2D code
A two-dimensional barcode that encodes data in both horizontal and vertical dimensions, as opposed to traditional 1D barcodes that use only width. QR Code, Data Matrix, and Aztec Code are all 2D barcodes, offering dramatically higher data capacity than 1D formats.
