QRishing
Also known as:
quishing
QR phishing
A phishing attack using QR codes to direct victims to malicious websites. Attackers place fraudulent QR stickers over legitimate ones (e.g., on parking meters, restaurant tables) or distribute them via email and print materials. The opaque nature of QR codes makes it hard to verify URLs before scanning.
